Mini Sessions 2022 FAQ
1. What Is a Mini Session?
A mini session is a great way to professionally capture photos of you and/or your family through a short 15 minute time slot at my home studio, and yields around 30 images for you to select from.
Photos can be used for business cards, social media advertising, holiday cards, special announcements, heirloom albums, displayed as wall art, and even used as professional headshots on your LinkedIn, etc.
2. When Are The Dates and How Do I Book?
The dates are September 16-18, & 23, October 7-8, 28-30, and November 11-12, 18-20.
You can book your time slot by clicking here. The reservation fee of $97 is due upon booking your time slot.
3. What’s Included In a Mini Session?
The Non-Refundable *$97 Booking Rate Includes:
- 15 Minutes + 1 Fully Retouched Digital Image
- Same Day Photo Selection w/ 3 Business Day Turnaround Time
- Up to 6 Family Members
- Digital Images, Prints, and Wall Art Sold Separately
4. What Does the Payment Schedule Look Like?
A non-refundable payment of $97 is required to the preferred time slot. If additional time of 15 extra minutes is desired, a fee of $75 will be added.
5. When and How Will I Receive My Images?
My typical turn is 12-14 business days from the date of your session. However, if you need it expedited for a turnaround time of 5 days, it will be an extra $75.
6. What If It Rains?
Since we are shooting indoors, rain is no problem! However, if inclement weather is a hindrance to travel, we can reschedule at another available date and time.
7. What Should We Wear?
For studio sessions, I recommend keeping it simple by choosing solid colors or patterns that distract away from your family. Remember, we want to capture the connection- not the crazy colors!
Another tip is to color coordinate but not necessarily match. Keep a consistent color theme but don’t go and buy matching shirts for everyone. A great example is if your husband is wearing a blue button up, choose an outfit within the same color scheme.
Thirdly, aim for consistency. If your kids are in suits and ties, wearing jeans and a shirt isn’t the best choice. Make it your aim to go for the same style and look!
8. What Should We Bring?
You don’t need to bring any props or purses as these sessions are meant to document the joy between you and your family. Just bring your bright smiles to our time together.
