BABY NUMBER TWO IS HERE!!! CONGRATULATIONS AGAIN TO MARK AND KATHLEEN!!!! The weeks leading up to Baby coming was full of crazy life things, sickness from the weather change, and so many nights wondering if Baby was gonna come. I was prepped for photos, and Lynne was ready for makeup. Well, it happened on the last day of February at 2 AM, we got the call. With Kathleen only dilated at 4cm, we had to wait. She got her epidural; Mark finally got some sleep; I just hung out and took photos; and Lynne did her magic on Kathleen. Yes, you heard me: Lynne airbrushed her makeup whlie she waited IN bed, in labor, in the hospital room. Remember, this stuff is sweatproof and waterproof- so being in labor is a perfect test! LOL We didn't do a full glam up, but just enough to make Mama feel refreshed, awake, and polished (yes, there were some lashes involved). After a couple of hours of resting, waiting, watching Netflix, she was ready at 7:30 AM! Everything went by so fast! Doctor came in, sat down, and Kathleen pushed for- I KID YOU NOT- 5 MINUTES! Mark was able to pull baby out! His umbilical cord was long enough for Dad to place him right on top of mommy and cut it. You don't understand the happiness, warmth and just utter awe that exudes and FILLES the ENTIRE room when Dylan came out. It was as if the world just stopped for that 10 second moment just for him. Dylan Quoc Nguyen was born on February 28th, 2016 at 8:04 AM at 6 pounds 11 ounces, 19.5 inches long. Congratulations again to MARK AND KATHLEEN!! We love you guys!!
