Burgundy, grey, and black Family Session at the Long Beach Exchange, California

It wasnt that much long ago, 10 years to be exact where I got to witness Gemie & Peter's wedding ceremony in Huntington Beach, California. 10 years later, 2 kids, and a lot of stories to share between the two of them, they will be celebrating their 10 year wedding anniversary with a vow renewal session this week! I'm SO excited to witness them renew their vows in front of their kids, and at a location where they got married!

Every year I get to hang out with their family for their annual family session, but this year will be a little more special than usual. Typically our sessions start out at a fun location of their choice where they 1. havnt been in a LOOONGGG time, 2. have LOVED visiting as a family frequently, or 3. have visited just a few times but want to get to know more of it!. LBX is the third one! It's a new shopping/eating plaza with familiar and new eateries and shops. Super cute aeronautical theme EVERYWHERE. Travel, runway, airport, airline, time, the works! I highly recommend visiting if you have a chance because there are cute things EVERYWHERE! Especially if you're into planes!

The Nguyen family really love exploring new food places together, along with new sites so this location was SOO perfect for them! There's a mix of modern farm house, and urban-industrial, along with old school adventurer. I loved how they incorporated the old with the new making things feel really refreshing to the eyes. The Nguyens opted for burgundy, grey, and black ensemble, and honestly it couldnt have been more perfect.  I thought it was super cute, and it wasnt too matchy matchy at all. The LBX had similar hues so it worked out great!
